    1) U2
    2) Johnny Cash (I'm assuming you're not excluding solo artists)
    3) Emmylou Harris
    4) Jurrasic 5
    6) Ben Harper

    Hell yea. Besides band is a generic term. Its your top 5 band/artist. I should have been more specific.

    These are just the five that I have really liked lately. Most of them have been my favorites for ever but I am not always into all of them

    I am heavy into breaks and drum & bass. Pendulum, Bassnectar (lorrin), High Contrast, FreQ Nasty, Freestlyers.

    As far as bands that play instruments I would say The Roots. Jurassic 5 is definitely a band. I love those guys as well. Maybe not their most recent album.
