I like the second one! Nice colors, exposure etc. Too bad of the sign on the left though.
Think you can crop it off as well, as the left side doesn't really add interest to the picture.

thanks! actually thought of cropping that. i was an idiot not moving further to the right when i took the shot as the reflection in the light would have been really nice without the sign.

not sure, but maybe i could not move further right for some reason though.

sky tonight was not as good, so i did not reshoot that shot.

I considered a London Eye shot like the winner photo of Becky, but then I did not do that as it would have been a cheap copy

The night shot of the Parliament buildings is really nice! You got lots of detail in the buildings, and the time on the clock is still legible and not blown out. With the pretty sky behind, it makes for a lovely image.
