    It's such a blessing for you to have the colours of autumn to photograph... simply a gift of colours to photograph... :)

    makes me want to go outside this weekend and start taking pictures in a nearby forest.

    Maybe I'd have liked it a bit sharper, but very impressive color selection. You have some very nice trees around your home :)

    Thanks all for your comments, folks, they really make me happy.
    For this tree I drove over land for a bit and kind of screetched to a halt when I saw it (on a very narrow, very empty back road, mind, no traffic out there whatsoever, so I could easily stop), and it was the only one of its kind. Took a trip into the woods nearby to find more, but this one remained singular, as you can see in this one here, taken upon coming out of that wood again:
