Recently I found a custom 126-film holder on Ebay that fits my Nikon V, The seller was asking $75 buy it now but I offer $60 and they took that. Well it came today I did a few test runs. So far they looks good, the only issue is that frame crops one side off some.

Oh yes. So much better!

My scanner says it's able to also scan negatives and slides, but it lost that function pretty soon. At first it still recognised negatives for what they were and converted them into a positive picture in the computer (on my screen), but now it is no longer able to do so... Little use for me now, other than using it as a normal flatbed scanner again

Ok...so it crops a little, sure as hell beats the tar out of a flatbed scan.
