I went to visit some family and took some time to practice. This is my first time trying out some new stuff

    1. Slowing down the exposure combined with HDR

    2. Trying my hand at Pano using PSE 8.

    3. A mom and her calf running around behind our house. Does the foliage in the foreground take away from the pictures?

#1, I didn't think you need HDR on that shot. Good composition though.
    #2, great panoramic shot!
    #3, out of focus
    #4, tripod needed?

I think the hdr looks nice, but im into that kinda look. Love the panorama. And yes i think theres a little too many bushes and distractions in the way.

As to the last two of mommy and baby moose: yes, unfortunately the amount of foliage and twigs is not only distracting but it also messed with your autofocus and you didn't get good focus on your intended subjects.

    The pano is really good.

Nice long exposure on the waterfall --- I wonder what the middle non-HDR version looks like?

they are pretty good number 1 is rather interesting... it makes it look like the waterfall is supose to be really high up but ends up being really small... the other ones are amazing especially the pano shot
