Trip to Drenthe

We spend a couple of days in the eastern part of the Netherlands. Here are some of my photos.

1. Welcome in Sheepland

3. Roof of the sheep farm.

4. Dead animals. This was at the Noorder Dierenpark Zoo in Emmen. Where someone obviously took a hobby in stuffing all the dead zoo animals...

5. Also at the zoo.

6. Inside a windmill. This is the wooden case where the millstones are in.

7. Good company.

My eyes are drawn to number 3 (although I would've preferred, for an intriguing effect, not to know what I'm looking at ). It would probably work equally good in B&W, if not better. Very nice.

Looks as if you had a fun trip, by the way.

Sure, we had a lot of fun. Talking about fun, servo can also be a lot of fun

I love the framing and overall composition for all of them! Especially number 2&4. I think that I would have failed to shoot this as well as you did. I always am reluctant to shoot things like no.4, I usually think that things like this don't make good photographs, but you proved me wrong.

2 I think would have benefited with a differnt time of day, but what can you do about that? I struggle to shoot landscapes like that.

The roof shot really draws me in. I feel like it's sucking me into some kind of vortex.
