Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
My brother and I went on an 8 day trip last week during which we covered 2800 miles over 6 states and 6 national parks. We flew into Albuquerque then drove up through Colorado and Wyoming to Yellowstone and then back down through Utah. Three full days were spent at Yellowstone.

It being more of a brotherly bonding trip than a photo trip, I packed the bare essentials. I went with my Pentax K100D, a 2 gig SD card, a 28mm f/2.8 lens and a 135mm f/3.5 lens. No tripod, and I shot in jpeg. This may seem a recipe for disaster, but I came away with it feeling satisfied that I got most of the shots I wanted.

So here are a few of the first ones I've 'edited' (usually just making sure it's level and there is no dust). By no means the best, but I shot over 600 frames and it will take me a long time to get through them all. I'll be sure to post them as I go.

Oh and if you ever wondered just how close bison get to your car at Yellowstone, wonder no more:

You've got some nice captures there, especially the Marmot. I don't know what the Yellow-Bellied is like to photograph, but the Vancouver Island is so rare and skittish it's pretty much the Holy Grail of wildlife photography out here.

I'm not sure. We were on an 11.5 mile backcountry hike when we came across them. There were a few of them living in a rocky outcropping over a river.

I really like the last one in the first post. Great colors and many interesting aspects of the landscape

Is that the Marmot that they used to torture the Dude?... They had a marmot man.... Sorry, for all those who haven't seen the Big Lebowski, I couldn't resist...

Great shots man!
