it's all about the love of the game. It was a great Sunday afternoon to get out and enjoy watching them play. (It helps that they won too.). All of these were taken with a 7D on TV at 1/1000, auto ISO. Processing was just a WB setting and pressing auto on the basic panel, set the camera profile and cropped.

1) Relief pitcher.

2) A hit for the catcher.

Good timing. I'd think about the framing. In the first one I'd probably have brought the camera down a little lower (and you taller than me guys maybe have to be even more aware of it). I'd rather see more foreground than headless people above the empty seats. In #2 and 3 same thing, I try to avoid getting edges (like of the dugout), either get it in the shot enough to see what it is or frame a little lower and keep that out altogether. #4's a nice one.

To me if something isn't adding to the picture then I want it out of the frame as much as possible. Maybe making copies and trying a little cropping of some would help clean them up (doesn't look like they need much) but maybe not, you might end up losing the top of the helmet.

I find in sports there are always posts and poles and trash cans etc. and I try to notice and frame being aware of that so those things are where I want them to be in the frame or out of my picture or at least minimized. It just takes a lot of practice I think. You seem to be on the right track.
