Trouble transfering pictures onto flash drive

My recently took pictures of my brother and his girlfriend and my mom wants me to put them on her flash drive, however when I try to drag them over to the E drive I got an error message saying, "Cannot copy IMG_0537: The directory or file cannot be created."

Just curious how do am I able to get pictures onto a flash drive?

The files were downloaded straight from my camera to my computer...using the software provided by canon. I don't really know if they are locked, I even tried connecting my camera and dragging straight from the software to the flash drive but the same message came up..ahhhhh

Instead of dragging them maybe try to save them to the flash drive.

Can you transfer other files to the drive? If so, the problem probably lies with the photo files. If you can't, the problem lies elsewhere.

Have you created the proper file folder on the flash drive to drag them to.....
