Try a new developer

I am planning on trying a new developer once my Tmax dev. runs out which will be soon and I am looking for suggestions.
I normally shoot tri-x or HP5 pushed to 800-3200
or Acros and Tmax 100 and slower B&W films for landscapes. I have been thinking towards HC-110 because while it still is a multipurpose developer I have seen great results when it is used to push Tri-X and HP5.

I was wondering what you guys use or would suggest and why

So many choices...

I quite like Tri-X with Diafine, which is a two-bath developer. You can use Tri-X at EI 1250 or 1600 when you process in Diafine. I also use Xtol diluted 1+3 for pushing Tri-X, and D-76 either straight or diluted 1+1. Xtol is an excellent all-round developer.

I'll second Tri-X in Diafine. It was my low light BW film/dev combo of choice.

And, for your slow to medium speed films, you might want to try Rodinal. It's a "cult classic" developer.

Another one to try for pictorial use is PMK (a Pyro developer).
