Trying something simple

    Had a trip out today but rather than focus on the stunning North Wales scenery I thought I would try a few simple shots. This one in particular appeals to me, although I can't quite explain why :er:

    It doesn't compare to the shots on your website, but I can see the appeal. I often take shots of trees. Some of the gnarled shapes are particularly interesting at this time of year before the leaves hide the detail. But nearly every time I look at my trees at home I feel disappointed. I am beginning to think it's one of those 'you have to be there to appreciate it' things.

    trees are always nice .. I have so many images of trees ... and they are not always easy to capture!
