trying to make my avatar

I am trying to make an avatar out of this picture, and I can't seem to get the file size to be small enough

Can anyone help me?

I have tried resizing in pse8, but it doesn't seem to do anything

I resized my photo on my computer. 100x100
then I followed the instructions in the Avatar link on my personal info area of this site.

hmmm... pse8 won't allow me to edit by pixels unless I'm missing something... :/

I had to use MS Paint (lol) instead of pse8
