Trying to make my first HDR

I got it done in Photomatix, but when I saved it as a tif and went to look at it in photoshop to make it a jpg it shows up as white?? I have obviously gone wrong somewhere!

u mean you saved it as a jpeg in ps ?

Your .tiff file has a 16-bit color depth.

JPEG is only capable of an 8-bit color depth. You have to convert the TIFF to the 8-bit color depth before you can save it as a JPEG.

That's where I had a problem. When I opened up the TIFF, I coudln't see the picture. Should I just leave it in the TIFF format then?
