Turned a bland photo into something cool

I took this photo on an overcast day, and was not happy with how it turned out, SO, I photoshopped it a bit..

Do you like the first photoshop or the second?

The first (colour) looks a little fake, the second (black and white) you could pass off as "this is what it was like" more easily (if it weren't for the one little forgotten blue dot on the side on the tower). Maybe not have the side of the church building become this dark???
