Can almost smell the water buffalo dung as I view it.

If you can smell it where you are, it's a good sign that you need to change your socks.

Water buffalos are very big, completely oblivious of anything you do - until you enter their space. Then they act irritated in a passive way. The whole group lurches to their feet and stands sideways to you, staring. Don't get between a mother and calf. Don't irritate a male.

This group were inhabiting a sandspit where our boat stopped for a p-break. Of course the guys got the end of the sandspit where the buffalos were. (I have never been able to pee with one or more buffalo watching.)
