Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
First photo posting, I am here to learn so be as cruel as you wish. I have a thick skin :) Both photos were taken using a D50, with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens. They are pretty much the best I can do at this point. I seem to be unable to keep my subjects still for long enough that I can compose the image properly and not clip bits of their face/body off!

#2 is a great shot. Great point of view, great expression. The eyes are killer. Just needs a little editing.

Thank you for your CC. The little girl in shot #2 is my sweet daughter, a most unwilling subject who 'forces' me to explore new ways of capturing her all the time!

So far, I have tweaked the levels and applied the sharpening workflow as described in this post: http://www.thephotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74450. Also, I have cleaned up some biscuit goo from her chin, and attempted to eliminate a viral rash from her cheeks with the healing brush in PS. Unfortunately some blotchiness still remains.

What other improvements could I make to this photo?

I have evened out her skin by softening it, saturated ever so slightly, and sharpened it some more.

Keep exploring those new ways to capture. You should be proud of this shot.

heip, thank you. I really like what you did to her skin, I wish it really looked like that! I shall have to try it on the original.
