    Nice composition. And I like the tonal range within the stem and the leaves which are on the right side of the image.

    How were you using the flash? (I'm guessing you were, right?)

    Agree wtih johngpt; I think the petals should be a little bit darker.

    -Thanks John. That's natural lighting, ya' know... ;) ..Ok, it was a direct hit from the on-camera flash.

    I would have put the next line of the song, but it wouldn't seem quite as 'hardcore'. "It scares the hell out of me"


    -Thank you tirediron. I agree with the petals' brightness, it would bring out their texture a little better.

    If on-camera flash wasn't natural, God wouldn't have put them on cameras!


    Have you stumbled across Bifurcator's posts regarding a home made diffuser, that he used on some awesome shots of flowers?

    I'll try to find it and post a link.
