    Hey all,

Thought I'd share a couple more shots - the first from my holiday in France last summer, the second from a hike up Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons, in August.

    Thanks very much JonK! :)

Anyone else got anything to say? Constructive criticism welcome - I'm a bit of a beginner

i like the last as well, but feel it has a bit of a tilt to be corrected.

Thanks JonMikal - to be honest, I couldn't really see the tilt myself (otherwise I would have corrected it! :)) so I ran it through photoshop with the grid enabled. I'm still really struggling to find a horizontal/vertical reference point in the photo to compare to the grid, but I've given it a very slight (0.2ยบ CCW) adjustment which brings the darkest band of cloud near enough horizontal on average. Any improvement?

Yes, I think it is quite some improvement. Subtle as your changes may have been, they have a great effect! I really like this one with all the differently lit and coloured areas.

But I also like the closeness and sharpness in the first. Wow. Every hair of that bee can be seen. Very impressive.
