Two views and one gritty.

These are a couple of my favorite shots of DC I took on my vacation. My girlfriend and I spent two weeks driving up the east coast of the US; Florida to Boston and back, and the camera never left my side!

We went on a cloudy, and mostly overcast day, but when the clouds break and the sun hits that side of the monument, it almost looks illuminated in some of my shots... it's an incredible site!

Really nice perspective and symmetry on the second. The first suffers from too much white space IMO.
Nice stuff tho.
