Unique sunset in Winnipeg and its reflection in school windows

    These were taken almost 30 years ago when I lived in Winnipeg. They show the evolution of a unique sunset and its reflection in school windows across the street from where I lived. It started as a gap between the clouds which continued to narrow to a tiny opening.


    They are scanned in from some old slides using an old camera so the quality isn't too good. I wish we had digital cameras then as it was one of the most incredible sunsets I have ever seen. Oh well, I hope the sunset makes up for the camera.

    The reflections off the school windows. It was summer and as you can see, some lovely people broke some windows that had to be fixed before the next school year.

    That was a VERY unique sunset, indeed! Very "wow"! Very!!!
    Photo 1 is so dramatic, and I also like the colour distribution in Photo 3 very much!
