Uniquely Ozzie Flowers

    I think these are uniquely ozzie flowers so I thought I would share them.

    (To be honest, I was inspired by the Trillian but wasn't sure if it was acceptable to thread steal in these forums by posting the shots in there.)

    They are commonly called bottlebrushes - but that phrase applies to a few different species that just look a bit similar (the real name of this particular one is Callistemon).

    Looks great! Very vibrant and the colors are nice and bright.

    The first one appeals to me allot. :)

    ah cool, i remember those when i was ozzie! very nice, we have a few transplanted varieties here in auckland too ;)

    LOL. I hoped it would provide you all with some amusement.

    I just realised that I think maybe I should be doing some of these things in the theme forum. Flowers, pets, - could be a lotta fun. It's just that I kinda rush looking at all the photos people post (on this forum and the critique one) so I tend not to look through too many other places.
