universal remote cable release

OK, I SWEAR that I just saw a post on this, but I can't find it. Does anyone have any specifics on programming a universal remote to use as a shutter release on the D70? I heard that you program a remote for a Sanyo TV and it should work, but I've tried bazillion codes and can't seem to find the right one. Gracias.

Check dpreview.com. I saw something in that forum a while ago. I don't think anyone has posted instructions on doing that here.

My advise... go to the store and get one. They're like $15 and take up less space than a tv remote
