    These pictures were taken on the Natchez Trace Parkway near Tupelo Mississippi.
    These are the gravesites of 13 unknown confederate soldiers...."A mute reminder of bygone days and of the great struggle out of which developed a stronger nation"

    Good shots. I spent almost all day in the cemeterys of Union CW vets and really like the military cemeterys. Up north here I have only seen a few CS headstones.

    Ah, first I saw that big monumental tomb for the Confederate Soldier in MommyOf4Boys' post, and now I see this small, modest little headstone here ... what a difference!
    I really like the light you captured and the chosen depth of field!
