Uprooted Tree

    Not a spectacular shot, but a spectacular subject - still. This tree was uprooted, but continued to thrive stretching toward the sun.

    Adding to your find as such is the fact that this tree is so nicely curved, leading the eye all through the frame from the undug (sorry, not to be seen) roots to its crown/tip that still tries to reach the sun. So it must have re-rooted once it fell ... if that is ever possible, but I would think it is...

    This is a wonderful wood, I should add. Wow. Must have got lots of interesing things to see!
