For the upteenth millionth time, I am finding that I am regretting selling my Gossen Starlight. I noticed though on ebay they are selling these super cheap (like less than $20) Chinese lux meters.

All I really need it for is to find hot spots on lighting setups that would be sensitive in post production ie chromakey and some other specific applications - but not so much for setting exposure.

Do you think this be sufficient?

How about one of the smart phone light meters? I have one that measures in EV values; measuring this page's white at EV 9.63 at ISO 100. It seems VERY sensitive.
