This is a shot of Verbena that I like for its artistic value. I know I haven't posted in a while but I haven't had the time. BTW this ways taken with my new lens the 28-75mm tamron the close focusing distance on it is supposed to be 13'' but its actually around 6". This lens has extreme bokeh capabilities can't wait till its used for weddings this summer. Don't forget C&C please:wink:!

I love the colors but would have liked to see a little more of the flower in focus.

It is quite artistic, has an underwater effect, but I am sure the flower-lover would love to see some more detail.
But I assume this is not the kind of photo to replicate an image of nature as realistically as can be, much to the contrary, this is putting the image of the flower into an all new context, and I like how you did that!!! Cool blue colour temp! Nothing I would normally go for (and don't in my pics) but I like to see and feel it HERE.

I agree with digital flower, personally, but it's a nicely composed shot. :)

Thanks for your comments and I agree more of the flower could be in focus which would elevate the shot even further. I'm glad you commented though its the only way I can learn.
