So glad I went out today, was out for maybe an hour and a half and found so much good stuff. It just worked out today, imo...let me know what you guys think.

Very nice, I like the first 3 best. Interesting shots.

Very much like 1 through 6. The last 2, sorry, they don't belong.

However, when you get a good subject and you're going to use multiple shots of it make sure they are quite different. #1 and 2 are way to similar. With the 3 of the train there's enough differences to make them all interesting.

Good job.

haha, we just got rid of our econoline. cash for clunkers. and now we have a brand new civic

Nice pictures. I like the tight crops you've used on all of them. the first was a little confusing at first until you see 2 and 3. nice color and texture on the first 3 though. 3 and 4 are my favorites. on 3 theres just enough information there to tell what it is and the angle is nice.

You really should number them. I like the first 3, nice textures. #6 I like more then the rest.

Thanks guys! The last 2 are there just cause I shot them at the same time, and with the truck ones, from the other angles the light wasn't great...

1,2,4,and 5 are all pretty good. Indeed, you did well to make that many decent images in one day. I liked the old Econoline abstracts, and the one with the tall grasses and the graffiti was well-done. One of the stronger shots you had was #5, with the puddle, the tracks, and the railcar and its support strut reflections was a nice study in distance and depth.

"Some days are diamonds, some days are rust." The day you shot these on was not a rusty day...

I like 4, 5 & 6, you have some really cool shapes and textures going on in these. :)

I'm just wondering what set up were you using to take this?

I used a D300 with a Nikkor 28mm f2.8 ais.
