Went out to Viera for a little R&R only to find it cold, cloudy and windy as hell!! Still managed to find some things to photograph.......

Those are fantastic. What kind of ibis is that?

Caracaras are cool looking birds. I saw one in Ecuador once.
 
Great series ,would love to have Viera near me i would be there all the time.

Well if that isn't an understatement, I don't know what is!What a lovely series of photos. I especially like 3, 5, 8, 9, and 13. Thanks for sharing these.

What is the raptor in the last shot? I don't think I've ever seen that bird before.

So sorry for not labeling the photos. I usually d but it was late last night.
Last shot is one of the Adult Caracara's to the Juveniles in pic's #3 & #4
 
14 is my favourite. Another great set.

Whats the difference between anhingas and comorants. I thought that was a comorant. I always confuse the two.

Anhinga has longer beak and spears his fish under water wile the Commorant has a small hooked beak and bites his fish under water. My non scientific explanation!
