Viki - Not Work Safe!

Original in color and in .NEF (Nikon) format. Levels adjusted then converted to a JPEG file. I duplicated bottom layer and desaturated the color. Added another layer at 60% opacity and some ambience/blur/saturation. Then I erased a little of the top layer to bring out some details. Also had to make use of the healing brush on the finished image to help her complexion. Shadow is natural light from a window.

I like the 2nd one as well. Very flattering - I just love high key images like this. :thumbsup:

I really like the second one. Very natural, and the soft black and white is flattering. (She's got such pretty eyes!)

Yup... the first image is week. As much as I like the technique (and I really do), the pose and expression make this one come off like a medical photo.

The second is cute! I'm not sure about the hands so close to the camera, but it's not a bad trade-off for what the pose has done for her arms. And... the expression is a real winner.
