Volcano

Daisy and I took a ride on some small Philippino ponys up to a volcano in Taal Lake, Philippines.. and so the story goes..

1- we pasted this volcano on the way, It last erupted in 1917 I believe.

2- Arrival, after a 20 minute boat ride, we meet the folks and our ponys!

3- The climb up to the peak was about 20 ,minute, 90+ degrees F, deep sand and lots of dust!

4- The happy couple at the top!

5- The view

6- Nice beach?? a bit toxic I think, although I am not a geoligist!

7- Steamy mud!

8- The ride back.. (walk for me) I didn't have the heart to get on that poor tan pony again, so I walked, and my guide road him down to the beach.

What beautiful country. I am sure when your baby gets older you would want to do this trip again.

The view is the most stunning, of course, but so is the volcano as a whole, as seen from the boat upon approaching the island. Great. Thank you so much for sharing!

Ty LaFoto! The volcano we saw is not the one in the first pic, as there are a few in this area. Wishing I had of taken more photos .. hindsight!
