    I shot this a couple of days ago in lovely Meeker CO. Not sure what to make of this one. It is in it's raw stage except for the crop. I thought it was a little different.

    hmm nice cropping, but try to make it a little brighter

    Thanks for the comment. I am definitely battling this one. I tried going lighter, but it somehow did not make the cut.

    Do you have photoshop CS? I've tried the shadow/highlight detail tool a little and it seems to work very well.

    Also, if this was shot RAW you can also "push" process it. export one shot untouched into photoshop and combine the two images to get the best of both. Virtual graduated ND of sorts.
