I took these a while ago durring a walk, tell me what you think

The first I like.
Nice play with very shallow DOF.
It would have helped composition if you had somehow had this twig run through your frame diagonally. Now it is very centred.

The second is too close. The cone should have been complete. A vertical frame seems like the solution. Alas, you chose horizontal...
