I live on a pretty small island, which has advantages and disadvantages. One disadvantage is that not much used gear comes up for sale. One advantage is that, once it does, there's not too much competition for it. A guy on craigslist was selling a ton of gear for what seemed to be a pretty low price. Of the things he listed, it was the Mamiya 645j and a Nikon 55mm 1.2 lens that caught my attention. Long story short, they're both mine now. With just a few test shots I can tell the 55mm isn't the sharpest lens at 1.2, but I knew that going in. Should be fun to have around. The Mamiya seems to be in really good condition, even though the picture doesn't do the lens justice. I have quite a bit of learning to do for it. Just thought I'd share!
