I went on a trip to Washington D.C. about two years ago and took a lot of pictures on a point-and-shoot Fuji A200 so I thought I would share some of the better ones.

I like these darin, and very appropriate with today being Memorial Day here in the US.

Very good picture of the waterfall! *nods* It's a shame my camera as too slow of a shutter speed to take a picture of something moving...

Whoops, posted before all the pictures were loaded. That last one is very nice. I can never find a perfect sky like that. *cry cry*

Very nice shots.. the first three are my faves.

You know, Darin, that you are "competing" with JonMikal and his Washington photos on here, don't you? Well, whether you know this or not, you can well enter the race with him! No problems at all here: your photos are also very good. Washington at cherry blossom time must be something else!

As to the Iwo Jima monument: would have been nicer to see a little more monument and a little less sky, though I see you were going for the monument, flag AND airplane...
