I am looking for a better scanner i have been scaning the prints but this looks like a better option. any thoughts or experiance.

Keep in mind that it is only capable of 1800 dpi resolution.

this means that you can enlarge images to approx. 20 cm x 13 cm (7.8" x 5.1") and still maintain the 1:1 300 dpi resolution sufficient for color separation and offset printing.

That's not a very big print.
