Watch your watch

    a little while ago i posted a photo on here not really knowing what the critique part of this forum was. hopefully this one somewhat makes up for it?

    i kind of like it. but what's the hand for? and the background is overexposed.

    I like the sharpness on the watch, but the background really takes away from the picture. Really distracting. Maybe if it was just the watch?

    I'm guessing the hand is holding the watch but it's way distracting. Also if the watch is to be the main subject of the photo then I'd make the viewing angle a little bit more face on and the watch has got to be brighter. The way it stands the hand and the background dominate in terms of color and brightness.
