I like this one a lot, looks like he thinking that he not going land the jump.
But he does.

the first one melted into the background but the second one is good.

A pity that these two need their title for others to understand what kind of skating this person is doing. I had expected some water - erm - more than the tiny bit that you see in the first photo.
Spray or so.
But I do agree that the facial expression in the second is well captured.

LaFoto - I crop the first one a lot, to get in tight on the skier.

Conch - As for the background melding into the skier. These where taken just a few days ago at a local ski park, most of local had on black wet suits that tend to blend in with the trees in the background.
