I had pretty much decided to not buy from them by reading the reviews...the final kicker was when I decided to call them..the first guy picked up, and started by saying...Yeah (in a snotty attitude), how can help you...I then think I heard some one in the background yell out a coffee order...I was quickly transfered to some other bozo...after being quickly transfered again, I hung up...

How can this seller still be allowed to do business. It sounds like you BBB is like our ACCC here in Australia all bark and no bite

I know first hand because my friend ordered a canon d40 from there just to check it out
when it arrived it was a d40 but in a plastic body not the original magnesium body

This sounds not very realistic. and the costs to move all the inner parts of the camera to a new body would cancel out the price difference between plastic and magnesium I believe.

LOL, I don't think any scammer would bother to recreate the D40 model in a different material. There are so many easier ways to scam people who's sole decision factor is price.

But hey, that's the free market at work.
