I want to insert a client log in section for my web-site where clients can log in and view their images and even order prints directly through me.

any thoughts or suggestions for this?

    Jennifer,

I would suggest looking into a hosting company that specializes in sites for photographers. Typically these hosting companies will provide a complete eCommerce package that will allow you to make your images available for sale directly. This is usually done in conjuction with a print service so that the client can have the image printed in a variety of sizes without having direct access to the digital files; on demand printing services.

    Ok,

I did some searching and someone I know on another forum uses http://www.photostockplus.com/. I'm sure there are lots of others, but this is the one I know. They provide templates for your galleries and you can simply link to your gallery from your own site as an eCommerce link. They provide a full range of print services including cups, posters, flipbooks... If you think a service like this might be interesting, I would suggest having a print made to determine if the quality is up to your standards.

Within your own account, you can create event albums. These albums can be password protected so that only a client with a password can get in, http://www.photostockplus.com/info_event.php?action=management

To give an example, here is a link to the gallery of PhotoRover: http://photorover.photostockplus.com/
