I took these this weekend while I was there for Mothers Day. I've not edited much, but will before I show them. These are some of my favs. I will add that my 85mm was way too long for these tiny rooms I was shooting in. The larger rooms were too dark for that time of day. That's why they are fairly tight. I barely had room to move! I also had problems with trying to get a larger f # so more could be in focus. Hand held and window light only.

Can't decide if I like the color or BW version...

I think #1 and #2 are both equally great! Cant decide either. You want the tight shots with newborns, so I think you did a very nice job. Excellent! :D

I'll show both of the first image. I love it both ways. Funny- I was crouched way down in her closet so I could get a little more in the frame besides her face! Maybe it'll pay off. She's such a doll with those eyes!

gorgeous - what cuties... i love shooting babes. x my only nit pick is that the skin tones on #4 look a bit cool on my monitor - still a BEAUTIFUL shot, but maybe try warming it up a bit? x keep up the posts x

I think I prefer the color version. And that's also the best shot out of them all in my opinion. Although, I really dig #3 too. So cute:)

I really like #3, #5 and #6, but I wish that all 10 toes were in sharp focus in #6.

I wish a LOT more was in focus. This new lens caught me off guard being so long and I couldn't get very far away and still have decent light. Live and learn though. I will use it plenty though. Glad you all like them!! Thanks for the C&C.
