It was probably only at F4 because it was quite dark even though it looks bright, I was finishing off the filmOK, Ultron handles flare quite well, but looks like have a small DoF for 28 mm lens..
I am wet printing this one tomorrow so I will scan the print and post itAPX has a nice look to it.
Gary. If you got, how we advised you, VC paper, here is a quick guide to diachronic filter settings:
FILTER EQUIVALENT
No 1 0M / 24Y
No 1.5 9M / 10Y
No 2 25M / 4Y
No 2.5 36M / 8Y
No 3 63M / 12Y
No 3.5 138M / 22Y
No 4 199M / 45Y
This is for policontrast filters. I am using them with Ilford papers with no problem. Maybe for Ilford VC papers the data may be somewhat different but anyway take this numbers as a border values and you can use any settings between them to get the best contrast for your prints.
