I would not think of this as a loss at all, so you covered you booth fees but not your total cost. But you also have many new prospects, so even if just one or two of those pan out, your still probably ahead over all right. An all of the preparation/material for the first show will carry over the next show. So really for your first time out at a show, I think that you have done quite well!

Oh..I forgot, Your Girlfriend had a great time too, so thats just Icing on the cake.

Think about the situation, you are doing something that you love, photography, Getting paid to do it, and you girlfriend is actually enjoying it!
