1. the leash is distracting to me
2. cute puppy
3. nothing really jumps out at me on this one.. sorry
4. nice lighting, colors, and DOF
5. i love this silhouette shot without the glare from the sun. you might need to clean your sensor as well.
6. lovin' the PP
7. watch out for the horizon and be sure it's leveled
8. i love sunset shots. it has a nice feel to it.
9. i'm not sure if you did any PP to this but i would like to see it with more vibrant colors.

overall, great job on the pics! keep shooting and get creative. i'm an amateur myself so i'm still learning.

Cool dog! It seems as though you may have dust on your sensor or lens? I noticed what seems to be dust spots on 5 and 8.

actually i have a crap lens right now. thats why the pics have errors. Im working on getting new lenses.. Any recommendations for Canons? I think i am going to get a macro lens and a lens that can zoom far out...sorry i havent looked at any lenses yet and i dont know the proper names for them yet.

thanks for the comments

In the first few shots, the biggest problem is harsh light. The highlights are too bright while the shadows are very dark. The best solution is just to be aware of lighting situations like that and try to avoid or work around them.

I really like the shots with the silhouetted trees & grass.

You do have lots of dust on your sensor and it needs to be cleaned. This is just routine maintenance with a DSLR camera. Search 'sensor cleaning' on the forum and/or Google.

Really digging #5 and #8. Looks like something you would see in a camping brochure. :) Maybe sell 'em for that?

IN EDIT: Someone said something about dust in #2, but looks clean of dust to me.

yes, the main light is not properly balanced... Need to avoid and 'repair' the light
