(And is this where you said the seals come to feed? Were you on a boat when you took the pic?)
No just on the opposite side of the harbour (the side where the evening pic was of). There are loads more, but I'm taking my time to sift out what's worth seeing.
Yes, a really lovely postcard! Personally would liked to have seen the sky a little more blue like a polarizer might bring out.
Here's a quick shot that give you a better idea how the harbour is laid out - it's really just a quay on either side of a fairly narrow river mouth. Both the seal photo and the one above were taken from the edge of the quay you can see at the lower right.
Abel74, you're right about he polariser - just wish I had one, especially one that would be big enough to cover the front element of the 10-22mm.
