Here's a scan from the 4x5 neg with my new Microtek i900 scanner. I've got a lot to learn about the software, and scanning from negs in general. Definately more complicated than scanning from prints.

Yeah, this one is coming across a little flat, and I know it isn't. You scanned the negs? Always a challenge. I'm not familiar with Microtek, but even using the transparency holders with my Epson 2450, I'm seldom satisfied with my results with negatives. Slides fare somewhat better, but the scanner rules with any print. hmmph! Shouldn't be so hard.

Congrats on the new scanner, regardless! :D
