I've wanted that shot for YEARS!!!! Those big puffs are so instantaneous. That is one frame from a sequence of 8 or 9 at 6 fps, and it's the only one with the big ball of cloud! The others have wing vapor, but not that big POOF.

I still don't have one in the shape of the shock wave all the way around the airplane when it's fast and level. I've got a couple that are close, but I still have a goal!!!

Fantastic shots! #9 is awesome, so are #1, 3, 4, 6, 8. Not a bad one here, actually...
As for the condensation in straight and level, you probably won't get to see that on a US-soil airshow, as this is approaching or exceeding the speed of sound. You're getting some good airflow separation in your shots, though, because the airplane's airfoil is at an extreme angle of attack.
Looking forward to shooting some of these shots, myself!
