The conditions were just too glorious not to sneak out for two days with the whale sharks this week. I'm leaving for a long vacation tomorrow so won't get time to process many of the images, so here are just two from my many many swims with these amazing creatures:

I'd be scared. I know whale sharks are not not dangerous, but me in an ocean, in deep waters...just creepy. I'm going on a cruise for the first time in september and will be going snorkling, that will be fun, but I hope I don't see any sharks or anything, that is what makes me nervous. Cool shots!

    Lovely shots.

There's a beautiful patterning on the sharks.

    Thanks, All!

I adore these guys and wish I could get out more often. By the time I get back from my holiday, they will likely be gone until next season.

<sigh> I guess I'll just have to go play with the manta rays when I get back!

Wonderful shots there - very clear and bright. Its great to see some underwater photography, its very rare (especially in the UK where the water is more like soup most of the time)

And manta rays? - here is a challenge (if you have not already done it) try to catch one flying :)
