What 2 lenses to have?

I'm going to splurg and get the 70-200 2.8 IS. I wish my local had them as cheap as http://www.bhphotovideo.com/.

Local $1900+6% tax=$2014
BH $1599+79.95(50mm1.8)+17.70(shipping)=$1696.65

I like to support local shops, but thats a big savings. Save $300 and get a 50mm1.8.
Have you guys had dealings with http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ ? Would you buy from them?

Hey Chris! Congrats on your decision. I just got my 70-200mm f2.8L IS yesterday. I bought from Amazon, free shipping and $3.00 cheaper than B&H. I have had great luck with B&H as well. You can't go wrong with either, IMO.

Bought my 70-200 2.8 (non IS) from B&H, pd for regular shippng and had it in 2 days. I have also made other purchase from them and never had a problem. I have also read that on the rare occassion hthawt someone has a problem, B&H corrects it promptly.

I went for the Non IS version because it doesn't help with sports. That version cost under $1200
