Hi,

I would consider myself a fairly proficent camera user. I am looking for a 35mm slr with automatic settings and manuel.I want a camera with lots of features, quality and durability. I can't spend more than $215 including the lense.

What do you suggest? I have looked at the Nikon n65,75,80. I also have looked at the Canon Eos series.

Thanks

Have you checked out the info on the N90s? I have one, and love it!

It's my Avatar!

manual focus = go for a nikon fe

autofocus = n90s or f90

You may even be able to find a "rough" f4 for $150, leaving you enough for a decent lens.

since the n80 is newer shouldn't it be better than the n90s?

I am really torn between the n80 and n90s!
You're limited to what lenses you can use with the N80. Go with the N90s. Prices are nearly the same anyway.

I am more interested in the actual camera features than the lenses. I am just confused as to which one is better (n80 or n90s) as far as durability, features, qaulity and overall value.

The N90s in all aspects.

what would be a good lens for $100 or less for the n90s camera. A multi purpose lens is needed.
