I think its overexposed.
Blown out and too much red in the skin.
You've got a light coming from each side of his face. Quite strong and severe. It's causing the mask of his face to be the darkest part of his face instead of the lightest. You should always light the mask of the face. The lighting is just too much.
too much negative space over the head and it seems a touch soft (i know sometimes photobucket makes images look softer)
